Summary

Dinsutra is a personal planner for tasks, habits and spending. Your data stays on your phone unless you sign in to back it up. We do not show ads, we do not sell or share your data, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking.

Data kept on your phone

Your tasks, habits, expenses, bills, budgets and settings are saved in the app's private storage on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Account and backup (optional)

If you sign in, we store your email address and a copy of your Dinsutra data so it can be backed up and kept in step across your phones. This is hosted by Supabase on servers in Mumbai, India, and protected so that only your account can read it. Sign-in codes are sent to your email by our email provider.

Crash reports

If the app crashes, it sends the error message, technical details of where it happened, the app version and the phone platform, so we can fix it. Crash reports do not contain your tasks, habits or spending. If you are signed in, a report is linked to your account id.

Purchases

Dinsutra Plus is bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see your card, UPI or bank details. The app only learns from Google Play whether you have an active subscription.

Notifications and widget

Reminders are scheduled on your phone by the app and the home-screen widget reads data saved on your phone. Neither sends data anywhere.

AI features

When AI features are available and switched on in Settings, the text needed for a request (such as a Quick Capture line, or a summary of today's tasks, habits and spending for the Morning Brief) is sent through our server to Anthropic, which provides the AI model. It is used only to answer that request. You can switch AI off at any time; the app then works fully offline.

Deleting your data

Settings > Account & sync > Delete account permanently removes your account and your backed-up data. You can also email us to ask for deletion. Data on your phone is removed when you uninstall the app. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days.

Children

Dinsutra is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
